Mexican border cities are performing another role. They are acting as the hub for the dental needs of U.S. citizens. Mexican cities are offering cheap dental treatments to U.S. citizens who are in need of treatment. In the U.S. the cost of dental treatments are very high.

People are shrugging off concerns about crime, drugs, hygiene problems in Mexico. Thousands of Americans are going to cities at the Mexico border to get their dental problems fixed.

Mexico offers the same treatment at one fourth of the price in the U.S. So fixing up small dental problems are easier in Mexico.

More and more Mexican dentists are moving to the border cities. They are offering competitive prices to lure U.S. clients. Americans were already using the services of the U.S. doctors and were using the cheap medicines and other medical facilities. Surgeries in Mexico were also quite popular among U.S. patients.

Business is booming and dentists are seeing hundreds of clients each month. The numbers are increasing and so is the money. Clinics pick up patients at airports, and the internet is also helping dentists get more customers.

Cosmetic surgery is not covered under insurance. In Mexico, you can pay in dollars for cosmetic surgery which is quite popular amongst U.S. patients.
